Discover southern Morocco on a 5-day journey from Marrakech through the High Atlas, Aït Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley before reaching the Sahara at Merzouga.
The journey continues from Merzouga through Rissani and across the desert towards Tafraoute Sidi Ali. Along the route, the program includes a sunrise over the dunes, a camel ride, the Paris-Dakar track, a visit to nomads, Nkoub, the Draa Valley and Agdez.
The final day takes you back towards Marrakech through Ouarzazate and the High Atlas.The journey continues through Todgha Gorges, Tinjdad and Erfoud before reaching Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes. The program includes a camel ride at sunset to the desert camp, followed by a night in the Sahara.
On the final day, enjoy sunrise over the dunes before beginning the return journey to Marrakech through changing landscapes, oasis areas, palm groves and mountains.
Cross the High Atlas through Tizi n'Tichka at around 2,260 metres, with photo stops along the route.
Visit Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before continuing towards Ouarzazate.
Travel through the Valley of Roses and reach the Dades Valley and its famous road of 1000 kasbahs.
Reach Merzouga, enjoy a sunset camel ride and spend the night in a Berber desert camp under the stars.
Continue across the desert landscapes from Rissani to Tafraoute Sidi Ali along the Paris-Dakar track.
Depart from Marrakech early and cross the High Atlas through Tizi n’Tichka at around 2,260 metres, with photo stops along the route.
Continue to Aït Ben Haddou and visit the UNESCO World Heritage site. Then travel towards Ouarzazate, known in the program for its film studios and Kasbah Taourirt.
Continue through the Valley of Roses and along the road of 1000 kasbahs towards the Dades Valley.
Start the morning in the Dades Gorges and discover its finger-shaped rocks and canyons.
Continue towards Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. Have lunch in Tinghir or near the gorges before continuing towards Erfoud and Merzouga.
In Merzouga, enjoy a camel ride at sunset towards the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Start the day with sunrise over the dunes.
After returning from the dunes, continue towards Rissani and cross the desert towards Zagora along the Paris-Dakar track.
Continue to Tafraoute Sidi Ali for the overnight stay.
Continue along the Paris-Dakar track and visit nomads along the route.
Have lunch in Nkoub before continuing towards the Draa Valley.
In the afternoon, visit some kasbahs in the Draa Valley before continuing to Agdez for the overnight stay.
Begin the return journey towards Marrakech through Ouarzazate.
Continue across the route towards the High Atlas and stop for lunch at the beginning of the High Atlas.
Continue to Marrakech and arrive in the late afternoon.
